Competition · 1st Runner-up
Robo-Droid Championship 2016
Organized by IEEE RUET Student Branch, 5–6 May 2016
Robo-Droid Championship 2016 was a national inter-university technology competition organised by the IEEE RUET Student Branch at the RUET Auditorium, Rajshahi, on 5 and 6 May 2016, with support from the EMK Center, Dhaka. It featured three contests: a Line Follower Robot Competition, a Maze Solver Robot Competition and a Mobile App Contest, alongside a technical seminar led by professional speakers.
I competed with Team DUET Robo Express in the Line Follower Robot Competition, where robots had to navigate the course autonomously in front of a panel of judges, on a track that included ramps and sharp turns. Our robot advanced through the rounds to finish as 1st Runner-up.
The result came just days after our championship win at ROBOLUTION 2016, and it confirmed our team's place among the most consistent robotics teams in the country that year.
