  1. 2013 — 25 February 2018

B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE)

Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur

Completed the Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at DUET, fulfilling all degree requirements on 25 February 2018, with a CGPA of 3.09 on a scale of 4.00. The degree certificate was issued under the seal of the University on 20 March 2018.

My studies covered power systems, electrical machines, power electronics, control systems, electronics, communication engineering and microcontroller-based design. For my undergraduate thesis, I carried out a comparative analysis of control techniques for high-speed position control systems.

Alongside my studies, I led DUET Robo Express to national robotics titles, served as President of the DUET Robotics Club and founding Vice Chair of the IEEE DUET Student Branch, convened DUET TECHFEST 2017, and founded DUET Runway-71, which flew the first drone in DUET's history.

    Thesis:
Comparative Analysis of Control Techniques for High-Speed Position Control Systems

    • Thesis on control techniques for high-speed mechatronic systems
    • Champion at ROBOLUTION 2016 and Cybernauts 2016
    • Founded DUET Runway-71 and flew the first drone at DUET
    • President of DUET Robotics Club
    • Founding Vice Chair of IEEE DUET Student Branch
    • Convener of DUET TECHFEST 2017

    Industrial Attachment (1 month)

Rural Power Company Limited (RPCL), 52 MW Dual Fuel Power

A one-month industrial attachment at RPCL's 52 MW dual fuel power plant in Gazipur, completed as part of my B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at DUET. The attachment gave me first-hand experience of how a working power plant generates electricity and supplies it to the national grid.

During the attachment, I learned how the plant's dual fuel engine-generator sets operate on both gas and liquid fuel, and studied the main systems behind them: fuel supply, lubrication, cooling, and air intake and exhaust. On the electrical side, I studied the generators, the step-up transformers, the switchgear and the substation equipment, along with the protection relays, the synchronising process and the plant's control and monitoring systems. I also observed routine operation, maintenance and safety practices alongside the plant's engineers.

The attachment gave me my first real view of power plant operations, and it became the foundation for my career as a shift engineer at Summit Power Limited's engine-based power plants.

    • Dual fuel engine-generator operation on gas and liquid fuel
    • Generators and transformers and substation switchgear
    • Protection systems and synchronisation with the national grid
    • Plant control and monitoring and maintenance practice
  2. 25 February 2014 – 22 May 2014

Professional Training Program on Industrial Electrical Equipment and PLC Automation System

    North Bengal Engineering Institute (NBEI)

A three-month professional training programme in industrial electrical equipment and PLC automation systems at North Bengal Engineering Institute, completed from 25 February to 22 May 2014 while I was a student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at DUET.

The programme combined lectures, practical sessions and demonstrations covering industrial electrical equipment, motor control circuits and the programming of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation. To complete it, I submitted a training report and faced a viva board for evaluation, and my performance was graded Excellent.

The training became the foundation of my industrial automation work, including my star-delta starter, conveyor control and VFD motor control projects, and later led the institute to invite me back as an instructor in PLC and microcontroller programming.

    • Industrial electrical equipment and motor control circuits
    • PLC programming for industrial automation
    • Lectures and practicals and demonstrations
    • Training report and viva board evaluation
    • Performance graded Excellent
  3. 5 January 2013 – 7 April 2013

Professional Training Program on Microcontroller and Embedded System

    North Bengal Engineering Institute (NBEI)

A three-month professional training programme in microcontrollers and embedded systems at North Bengal Engineering Institute, completed from 5 January to 7 April 2013 while I was a student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at DUET.

The programme combined lectures, practical sessions and demonstrations covering microcontroller architecture and programming, interfacing with sensors, displays and motors, and the design of complete embedded systems from circuit to working hardware. To complete it, I submitted a training report and faced a viva board for evaluation, and my performance was graded Excellent.

This was my first formal training in embedded systems, and it marked the start of my robotics journey. The skills I built here led directly to the line follower and maze-solving robots that DUET Robo Express raced in national competitions, and later to my work as an instructor in PLC and microcontroller programming.

    • Microcontroller architecture and programming
    • Interfacing sensors and displays and motors
    • Embedded system design from circuit to hardware
    • Training report and viva board evaluation
    • Performance graded Excellent
